Jump! Duck!

This move is from a family at the Blue School in NYC. It became a big hit during a recent roughhousing workshop/playday at the school.

The parent holds one end of a long pillow, and swings it toward the head or the feet of the child (it’s even more fun with two or more children).
Before the pillow gets too close, the adult shouts “Duck!” or “Jump!” and the child tries to avoid getting whacked with the pillow.  Over time, kids
get really good at this and you can swing faster and harder.  With a line of children, they have to learn the sophisticated skill of delaying their duck
or jump until the pillow approaches them.
